National Black Pudding Competition Results 2025

The National Black Pudding Competition was held at the Curragh Racecourse on Sunday, January 26th.
Three judges rose to the occasion:
- Chef Paul Curry
- Dee Laffan: A freelance editor and food journalist, Dee currently contributes to the Irish Daily Star, Georgina Campbell's Ireland Guides, and serves as the Irish food blogger for OpenTable.
- Leslie Williams: A journalist and freelance food and wine writer, Leslie contributes to various publications, including the Irish Examiner.
The judges remarked on the exceptionally high quality of the products presented, with each pudding showcasing its own distinctive blend of flavors and textures.
As the day unfolded, the judges faced the challenging task of determining the winner. After extensive deliberation and numerous tastings, they ultimately reached a decision.
