National Certificate in Butchering Skills Appeals Procedure
APPEALS PROCEDURE
1. Learner will receive results flagging the opportunity to appeal within 14 days of issue of dispatch of letter from ACBI.
2. The current date shall be noted.
3. The name, address and phone number of the learner shall be noted.
4. Reasons for the appeal shall then be briefly noted on appeals form.
5. The Manager of the shop shall communicate with the Training Manager in ACBI.
6. The Appeals Form shall be signed and dated and sent to ACBI for follow up.
7. The appeal will be reassessed by a different assessor and if it is seen to change the mark, the learner will be informed.
8. At this stage FETAC will be contacted to inform them of an appeal. The database will then be changed and a new certificate will be issued.
