ACBI maintains a register of butchers serving all regions of the country who are available to provide relief services for holidays, short or long-term staffing shortages etc.
National Certificate in Butchering Skills Appeals Procedure

As you may already be aware from the Qualifax database, ACBI has inaugurated the first-ever Accredited Qualification in Butchering Skills.
This is an exciting innovation for future Butchers and those wishing to work in the Food Industry, it might be of interest to you to have someone from ACBI plus one of the present apprentice-butchers already doing the qualification to talk to your Transition Year/ Leaving Cert.
